Green Phase Safe Practices

  • As you enter the Church (or Hanlon Center), please use the hand sanitizer provided.

  • Masks must be worn inside the Church and the Hanlon Center. (if you need a mask, please let one of the Deacons know-we can give you one).

  • Social distance seating is required.

  • Your generous donations can be placed in the Offertory Baskets placed at the entrances.

  • Bulletins are available at the entrances.

  • After the Final Blessing of Mass, the Celebrant will leave the sanctuary (altar), sanitize his hands, put a mask on, and come to the doorway to give out Holy Communion.

  • Parishioners are asked to leave directly after receiving Communion.

Weekend Masses are held in the Hanlon Center

Because of the restrictions of occupancy in the Green Phase of the Pennsylvania guidelines, the gym allows our parishioners to spread out and socially distance themselves at weekend Masses.

The gym is fully air-conditioned!

Please be aware that Monsignor Klinger has been the victim of a continuing email scam.  Fake emails that appear to be from Msgr. Klinger have been sent to several parishioners asking for help.  Please note that Msgr. Klinger would never ask a parishoner to help by asking for gift cards and does not have a g-mail account. Thank you.

Mission Statement

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is dedicated to becoming a community of disciples of Jesus Christ. As disciples we make Jesus Christ a living reality in the lives of the members of our parish family. By guiding and encouraging our people to discipleship through a heightened awareness of our Lord's presence in their lives, the parish community becomes a visible and active expression of the Living Christ in our world today.
